I’ve always had wonderful experiences staying at Zoute River Cottage. My husband and I have stayed a few times over the years as it’s a great place to hide away from the hustle and bustle of city life and is very affordable. We also get to buy plants and the most amazing organic vegetables from their farm store. On our last visit they were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early. We actually arrived even earlier than expected and were wowed by the fact that they now have a café on site and the food was absolutely phenomenal. As a self-professed foodie, I can honestly say it’s better than most restaurants I have been to in Cape Town. The cottage is clean and very comfortable with all the things one needs. At one point I as like I wish I had a xxx and I looked and there one was. Its honestly so relaxing to just to wake up with the birds chirping in the trees above the private garden. And if you do need to leave the town is in walking distance to go shopping or pop into the gallery or restaurants for dinner. I highly recommend Zoute River Cottage and will definitely be staying there again. The service was exceptional & I would send a friend there as well. Thank you so much John & Marie-Louise.
