We've been fans of Yolo Toast for a long time, but the new, larger location has surpassed it again. A great bar, with the coolest decoration in Augsburg, friendly staff and good prices. In my opinion the only drawback is the temperature, because on a warmer weekend in June it was very hot and stuffy. I hope air conditioning or something similar will be retrofitted. Price per person: €10–20

Great shop with good music, cheap drinks, friendly owners and sensational toasts. Went there for the first time today and didn't regret it. Would love to come back. Thank you for the hospitality! Edit from June 12, 2023 - Since your answer reminded me today that I left you this review almost a year ago after our first visit, a little update: the YOLO TOAST is now one of our absolute favorite bars and we don't want it miss more. The wait for the reopening at the new location was more than worth it and we look forward to many more great evenings with you. Please stay exactly as you are! As someone who actually lived through the 80s, I'm always a bit skeptical about 80s concepts. But the Yolo toast is so stylishly over the top that I think it's great. Plus, the veggie toast I had was really delicious – in a down-home kind of way. The selection of vegetarian options exceeds those with meat by a toast and there is also a vegan option. I still have to test the free sharpness upgrades (but they'll probably make me cry. Well, no pain - no gain). The music (rock, metal, a bit of well-chosen 80s pop) was appropriately loud and you might have to shout at each other a bit, but that fits with the dark interior with neon accents, in which I felt like I was in one at 7 p.m Bar or a club, less like a date for (toast) dinner. (Well, club would be more like the feeling from 4:00 a.m. onwards, when most people have already crept home and you're overcome by this gnawing hunger for something with roasted aromas. So this very special Wee-Hours-Of-The-Morning- Toast hour. You know that.) It is very likely that the first visit was not the last. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
