Lovely place. Excellent menu!! Like the tapas concept of small sharing dishes. Their labanese mushrooms were soo good!! The waiter was very nice n friendly n made good suggestions!!

Wonderful for Lunch!!!! Staff is great and the trout is still in my memory as the best I have ever had. Try dessert even though they sound odd you will wish you had started with it!!!

Fantastic "Evening in Catalan" event with winemaker Assis Suriol! We arrived a little early for the event so the staff showed us to some seats on the deck and gave us a glass of Suriol's 2013 Brut Nature Cava. They showed us inside for the first dish (warm bean salad) and Suriol 2015 Els Bancals. Assis Suriol took a few moments between each dish to describe the wine he had chosen and the Catalan music he had selected for each course. The next course was a trio of toasts (slow braised oyster mushrooms, spicy lamb sausage and anchovy) paired with Suriol 2012 Cava Rosat. I was impressed that this wine paired very well with such a range of food flavours! The next course was pan fried lamb sweetbreads paired with Suriol 2015 Mataro. The next course (and my favourite) was the mixed seafood and pickerel paired with Suriol 2001 Cava Collita. It seemed like an unusual pairing but it was brilliant! The dessert was macerated rhubarb and orange tart with Suriol Dolc. Again it sounded unusual but it proved to be a great combination of Saskatchewan food and Catalan wine! There was such a perfect Saskatchewan sunset that everyone has took a few minutes on the deck to enjoy it before continuing with the evening. We were able to get at least one bottle of everything they had available. Assis was kind enough to stay late to discuss wine, answer questions and sign a bottle for us. The team at Willow on Wascana and Merawine delivered a great evening!
