Terrible service, more than 30 minutes with the finished dishes and no one came to pick them up. There were not that many people in the restaurant for the slow and terrible service we have received. One of the waiters leaning on the bar so calmly without working while there was so much work to do... shame. The wine we ordered was brought to us already uncorked, which is unthinkable in a restaurant. €3.5 per person for cover... amazing. A perfect example of throwing €80 of food into the trash. We ate for the first time in this restaurant and we had a wonderful time, the staff were super friendly and very professional, the fish was very fresh and delicious. The tartare with Stracciatella is amazing and the tuna and mango tartare is recommended. Located relatively close to the Gran Hotel Duca Di Mantova, Will Fisch Restaurant was a gem of a find, providing a very pleasant dining experience. The food was first rate, offering dishes you generally wont find on the menus of restaurants in the tourist dense parts of the city or region. The restaurant is heavily seafood focused, so keep that in mind. The service was excellent. We were attended to very promptly and our waitress, who spoke limited english, was very patient with our non-Italian speaking group. She provided recommended dishes and wine upon request, which didn't disappoint. Two english translated menus were available which also helped. As for presentation and atmosphere, there's no glitzy facade nor is it needed. This restaurant isn't in a tourist zone competing with a dozen others for customers from foot traffic. It's clear this place caters to the local community and lets reputation be its advertising. Internally the restaurant is clean, crisply presented and comfortable - nothing to fault. Overall, if you find yourself in the area, don't hesitate to give it a try. I'll finish with a teaser, saying there were a couple of nice surprise extras, but you'll have to go yourself to find out .
