After a strenuous walk from the center of Bozen along Kalvarienstrasse to the Gasthof Wendlandt in temperatures of around 25 degrees, we wanted to enjoy the unique panorama at the Gasthof Wendlandt with a cold beer and South Tyrolean specialties. Service Thomas arrived after a long wait, and the order for the beer took even longer that was served after an even longer wait. We canceled our planned food order after another unsuccessful wait because waiter Thomas was not present in the garden at all. We paid for our drinks and left in a huff. Fortunately, we have not experienced such miserable service in South Tyrol for decades!!
