During our three-day stay in Interlaken, we had a strong craving for Indian food. Thankfully, my husband suggested Welcome India King, an Indian restaurant in the area. Although it was a bit pricey, we indulged ourselves in their delicious aaloo parathe. The portions were generous, and the taste was truly authentic. It's no wonder this restaurant is so popular among Indians. Vegetarian options: Fortunately, they offered a plethora of vegetarian options, which was a relief for us. We had most our meals at this restaurant during our visit to the interlaken. The food was very delicious as we tried most of them and all of them were very well done, specially Samosa chaat. If you are looking for authentic and hygienic Indian food in the Interlaken area, this is a perfect place located conveniently next to the Interlaken west railway station.
A must try in Interlaken area. The restaurant is run by a very sweet Punjabi family and we were served like being at home.
