Exceptional menu that is actually implemented tastefully and visually very appealing by the kitchen. You wouldn't expect that in the rustic atmosphere and location. Very friendly, attentive service. Our dog was also welcome. Unfortunately, I have to say that the quality has decreased significantly recently and the service has been better. I was actually convinced that I would spend a nice, quiet evening here. Unfortunately it was the last. And we drove an extra 130 km to Schömberg in the Waldschenke. We were very impressed with the food. The service was also very attentive and tried to do justice to the guest as best as possible. Unfortunately, the impression was that the service was slightly overwhelmed and stressed, but very friendly in every situation. And there were plenty of situations as there was an event taking place that evening. We were suddenly sitting pretty much in the middle of it all, for about half an hour with finger food and a champagne reception. Due to the volume, we were no longer able to have a "normal" conversation even at the table. That was something, in modern German, "too much." I couldn't understand why we weren't placed in the front area. Since there was still But we didn't expect that we would be part of the event, at least at times. That was poorly regulated and unfortunately the atmosphere in the large rooms at the back was not very inviting. Conclusion: If you want good food, this is definitely the right place, but surprises are to be expected.
