We were at the hotel as a family for a short vacation with a paddling tour. FRIENDLY staff, clean rooms, nice facility. The paddle boats very good. The dinner and the service were top!!! We would like to come again. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet

We spent a weekend with our dog at the Waldhotel Eiche. The location is really wonderfully quiet and idyllic. The rooms and the lobby are beautifully designed. The cleanliness was sufficient and we were greeted warmly by the staff at reception. We would come back. Unfortunately, it is not possible to understand why it should be a 4 star hotel; there are simply too many details that are incorrect. There are no full-length mirrors, a mini or maxi bar, the reception is not reliably staffed, there is no possibility of making tea or coffee, the service at breakfast is incredibly unfriendly and listless. Especially in such a remote hotel, we would like to have the option of snacks and snacks to buy essentials and perhaps you should also think about whether it makes sense to lay a shaggy carpet in the hotel. We found that a bit disgusting, especially since there were no slippers. Overall, the hotel is simply too expensive for such poor service, and selling a tea for €4.50 is simply cheeky.
