I think this was the best pain au chocolat that I have ever had!!! The flavour and the texture were absolutely perfect. I was there so early that it was also still warm!

Out of my family of five, two of us have to eat gluten free. Via Dalla Spiga Milano took incredible care of us ahead of flying back to the states. They were initially concerned about how their products would taste after 24 hours - even hesitant to sell to us because they knew the quality wouldn’t be the same as fresh! Thankfully, I was able to convince them that it was either eat less than fresh or not at all on our flight home. We had tried multiple times to connect with our airline to request gluten free meals, but to no avail. Once they knew we were sincere and wouldn’t gripe about their food not being fresh :-), they went above and beyond to help us. From suggesting which foods would hold up the best to double wrapping our gf bagel sandwiches, they made sure we had safe and real food nourishment for our nearly 24 hours of travel. And, might I say that the food, even day old, was delicious!!! Thank you, Via Dalla Spiga, Milano!!!
