Ayant vu Regentessbrug, c'est le moment de faire une pause dans ce restaurant. Tous les visiteurs aiment la fabuleuse cuisine britannique de Vessel 11. Ne partez pas sans avoir mangé un bacon cuit à la perfection. Le chef de ce lieu est renommé pour cuisiner un crumble délectable. On vous offrira un vin délicieux. Les clients visitent cet endroit pour goûter un expresso immense.
L'atmosphère chaleureuse de ce restaurant fait que les invités se sentent bien et passent un bon temps. La bonne note de Vessel 11 serait impossible sans un personnel courtois. Un lieu original pour manger. Vous êtes sur un bateau, facile à trouver, il est peint en rouge. La cuisine est excellente, les portions généreuses. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: €20–30

When I thought of Vessel 11, I thought of a quaint mom-and-pop establishment specialising in a few traditionally English dishes and the hospitality that I expect from pubs across the channel. Seeing that they serve a Sunday Roast, even well into dinner times, our interest was piqued, and we decided to book a table for three. However, our visit on Oct. 19th left a sad taste in our mouths and a hole in our bellies. Vessel 11 looks stunning on the surface; the "Red Ship" really is a fitting name for it, but on the inside, we were quick to notice the withering flowers of our table decoration. Not long after being seated, we witnessed a server handing out cushions, which was a rather peculiar sighting (should that not happen before service?). Furthermore, drinks were slow, and, even though we had reserved a Sunday Roast dinner, a handful of nuts would have been the least that could've been placed as a small appetiser. But the worst was yet to come. After having received our roast dinners, we had some trouble cutting into our lamb (maybe? In retrospect, the meat wasn't even specified), which was completely raw on the inside. We quickly signalled over one of the waitresses, who gladly took our plates for a quick heat-up. One member of our group had a fine piece, though it was still somewhat tough, but continued with the meal, thinking it would only take a few moments. A few moments turned into many moments. Only when the one member had finished his meal did we receive our warmed-up plates. The lamb (?), now slightly overcooked, too little gravy, 4 dry spuds, a sad pile of thrown-together veg and a small Yorkshire pud were staring us in the face. Naturally, our drinks were empty by the time our late dishes arrived, but we weren't offered any more as it seemed one of the waitresses was keener on chatting up the barmaid. After we had voiced our complaints, our drinks were reimbursed (come to think of it, maybe THAT's why they didn't offer us more drinks... clever clever.), but I can't increase my given rating after this abominable experience. It is safe to say that we will not be coming back to the Red Ship. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30
