Je m’attendais à une ambiance froide et un peu „hautaine“, mais l’accueil est chaleureux, le service agréable et ils ont pu sans problème adapter mon menu à un régime pesco-végétarien (je n’avais pas vu d’avis qui mentionnait cela). La cuisine est recherchée et vraiment bien maîtrisée, je recommande pour tous les amateurs de gastronomie! J’en garde un merveilleux souvenir. Tout était très bon, néanmoins les 2 desserts du menu 5 services manquaient de travail par rapport à ce qu’on peut attendre d’une table gastronomique/bistronomique. I had the chance to be invited to dinner at Restaurant Veranda as a guest and speaker at the festival Us By Night. It was a truly lovely evening shared with the rest of the speakers and guests. Even though the restaurant isn’t located in the most central area, it’s absolutely worth the trip. The space itself is beautiful, the kitchen is completely open, so you can watch the chefs at work, and at the very back there’s a garden with lush greenery where you can step out for a smoke or simply enjoy the atmosphere. The wine selection was fantastic, and the dishes were creative and inspiring, with really interesting flavour and texture combinations. Since it was a large dinner with many people, some plates took a bit longer than expected, but it was more than worth the wait. You can really feel the care and dedication behind everything they serve. One of the most unexpected and charming details was the cutlery presentation. Instead of the usual table setting, each guest receives a beautifully designed roll, almost like an artist’s brush case,that unfolds to reveal a full set of cutlery, one piece for each course. A thoughtful and playful touch that makes the experience even more special. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a place that combines great food with a unique and inspiring atmosphere. They had all kind of resources and adaptability which made this restaurant super suitable for any person.
