We arrived at 9.30pm and waited half an hour just to order. I had to get up personally to call the waiter (which was already absurd), otherwise the wait would have been even longer. We ordered a beer and a water, but only water arrived. We had to request beer again, which was brought to us about 15 minutes later. The pizzas arrived at 10.30pm, exactly one hour after ordering. When we got up to pay, we found the till empty and we were left standing waiting for another 15 minutes. Despite our repeated calls, no one came forward. I had never had an experience like this in any other place. All this would already be serious in any context, but I find it unacceptable in a place where I pay €18 for a pizza. I expect adequate service for the price and this was not at all. The staff on a Saturday evening consisted of only three people: a pizza chef, a waiter and another boy whose role was unclear. This highlighted a very serious lack of organisation. Furthermore, the bathrooms were in a pitiful condition: dirty and without paper. It's really a shame, because the place is very nice and has great potential, but it turned out to be all smoke and fire. I highly recommend hiring more staff and improving management. By far, our favorite meal in Sorrento! Vasame Pizza had great vegan options, which is vital for my family. Don’t miss this little gem of a restaurant! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
