We were very excited to eat at Under Grain, as we read many great things about it. However, we were extremely disappointed by the experience here. After being seated and given the menus, we opted to order the more "a la carte" options, since they sounded much more interesting than the tasting menu. We also opted to order glasses of wine, rather than do the wine pairing. After this happened, we were promptly ignored for almost an hour, with the next contact being the sommelier pushing us to order more and different wine. When the food finally did arrive, we were very surprised to find that there was not much in the way of local ingredients. The experience was much more about presentation and theater than about the food. Overall, we spent close to four hours in the restaurant and close to $400. It was absolutely not worth it and would definitely advise against dining here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €50+ Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
