Thank you to Winston, Kirk and the team at Tweedy's for making my husband's birthday dinner just perfect. When asked what my husband wanted for his birthday dinner, he immediately chose Tweedy's.Contrary to other reviews posted here, as long time customers of Tweedy's, we have always loved their food and service. We have found it to be delicious, flavourful and a true taste of Jamaica. My husband is Jamaican, and the food from Tweedy's is just like his mother used to make.We have always enjoyed the patties, and the cocktail patties are a nice size to start a Jamaican meal. They go perfect with a rum and ting on a hot day! Oxtail stew, curry goat, jerk pork, curry chicken, coleslaw and rice 'n peas were ample, flavourful and cooked to perfection with the meat falling off the bone. We had leftovers to send home with our two daughters and enough for another meal for my husband and myself.We highly recommend Tweedy's. Thank you for a truly memorable feast for my husband and our family. We will miss you when we move to Collingwood.
