This wall of boxes with empty bottles stirred up nostalgia in my soul for the Soviet Union that left us untimely . I remember how back in the USSR empty beer bottles were accepted for 20 kopecks, and a bottle of Barley Ear of beer then cost 50 kopecks. My parents worked as trolleybus drivers and earned very decent money, and since I was 17, I already worked hard on weekends, so I could easily buy a box of beer with my pocket money. Only I didn’t like it at all then, and in general I didn’t drink at all until I was 20 years old, because I was seriously involved in sports. The bar Turbaza Veterok in Samara is a very original establishment; we went here for lunch on our Saturday trip to the provincial capital. The authentic atmosphere in the style of St. Petersburg bars immediately evokes sympathy and a desire to stay longer here. The service is also wonderful, the staff greeted us as dear guests and the desire to sit here only got worse). The first dish turned out to be only one, chicken soup, also known as the soup of the day, they brought me a large plate with a rich and tasty dish. Yes, so big that I couldn’t even handle it and asked my wife to help). For the main course we ordered beef steaks, they also turned out to be excellent, lean and juicy. To work up an appetite, I allowed myself a glass of Serbian rakia as an aperitif. I was very surprised by its presence on the menu; usually you won’t find this drink on our menu during the day). Prices are average, for three adults we paid 2500₽, with a small amount of alcohol. And after lunch, we went on to walk around Samara, full and satisfied.
