Every plate is a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with authentic flavor. The Pollo al Mattone at Trimani Ristorante is an exceptional example of traditional Italian culinary craftsmanship executed with modern finesse. Translating literally to “chicken under a brick, this dish is prepared by pressing a marinated half chicken beneath a heated weight during grilling, which ensures even cooking, a perfectly crisped skin, and remarkable moisture retention throughout the meat. During our visit to Trimani Ristorante, one of the highlights, beyond the incredible food, was the personal touch from the owner Robert or Rob. Midway through our meal, he stopped by our table to chat, sharing a bit about the restaurant’s story and the passion that fuels everything they do. He spoke warmly about how Trimani began as a family vision, rooted in traditional Italian values: great food, genuine hospitality, and community. The owner also shared details about the services Trimani offers, from intimate private dining and catering for special events to curated wine dinners and seasonal tasting menus. Each service is designed to deliver the same level of quality and care that you experience in the dining room, personalized, elegant, and authentic. That personal interaction elevated the afternoon from a great meal to a truly memorable experience. WOW!!! What an amazing surprise to find a restaurant that is miles ahead of its closest competition; from the crisp white table cloths to the live plants, live music, and the most delicious food on the menu. I celebrated my birthday there on the 4th of November. We were a group of 18 people. Most restaurants have given me such a hard time to host so many people that I was about to order catering and have it at my house, but then I found Trimani.
Antonio agreed to all of our requests. He put us in a semi-private part of the restaurant with separate washrooms for our use. By giving us this separate part of the restaurant we were free to get up from the table and mingle with everyone at the party.
The food was just amazing. My friends were very impressed with the lamb, the pasta (which is made fresh at the restaurant and so is the bred, which is also delicious). In short all of the food is amazing even the vegetables are so fresh you can taste the freshness. I ordered a double portion.
But the biggest surprise for everyone were the washrooms. They were immaculate. They looked like they were installed just before our celebration and they were perfectly clean - totally unbelievable.
I don’t know how to express my gratitude and gratefulness for making my birthday there the best birthday party of my life (and I have quite a few decades behind me).
I’d like to thank Antonio for creating an atmosphere that is perfectly fit for fine dining. This practice of serving food on bare tables is a trend that you find even in the most expensive restaurants today. I don’t mind it if I go for fast burgers, but fine dining on bare table – yucky….
Also I’d like to thank Roberto - the waiter - who took such an amazing care of us during the party. My friends were very impressed with the whole experience and all of us had a fantastic time.
Great many thanks go to Antonio and Roberto from me and all of my friends for giving us this amazing evening. My husband and I will be returning to your restaurant time and time again. I hope you don’t change a thing, because it is absolutely perfect the way it is
