Was there last Saturday 7 /20/24 Had the Game platter. The food and the service was fantastic. Meats tender and flavourful. Never had Impala or Kudu before. Delicious Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 500+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Biltong, Game Meats, Impala Steak

my husband and i had a meal there yesterday and were placed at a table near the bar. Firstly one could not hear the background music for the staff shouting to one another across the restuarant. I ordered a chicken burger with gaucolmole and Chakalaka. The desciption said burger topped with the two. My burger arrived without either gaucomole or chakalaka. I asked the waiter where were the toppings, he rushed of and came back with a little bowl of gaucomole and chopped tomatoe with chili in it. Not even a proper Salsa. I then asked to speak to the manager. Firstly i brought to her attention about the noise from the staff to which she replied that i should have asked for another table. That was not the point. Waitron are supposed to be seen and not heard, and when i pointed out that the food that had been served was nowhere near what was described on the menu I was told that is how they serve "chakalaka". Chakalaka and chopped fresh tomotoes and chillis are very different. This manageress was basically telling me this is how things are done in this restuarant and if i dont like it go somewhere else.
