We happened here by chance on a warm September day, and were pleasantly surprised. The sandwiches turned out far beyond all expectations. Even though I wasn't particularly hungry, I devoured my red pizza with cooked ham and mozzarella. The ingredients were of the highest quality and the flavor truly extraordinary. The service was friendly, attentive and quick. We highly recommend this place! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5

We visited Matera in October 2024. We were two parents and a 9 year old child, from Australia. These were the best sandwiches (panini) I’ve ever had in my life. Tornagusto is the perfect place to have aperitivo or sandwiches to take away. Delicious local products, everything is cut and prepared upon request to ensure a delicious and fragrant service. I wish I had pictures of our paninis, but we could not resist the smell and ate it straight away ! And trust me, every bite was a pure bliss Sadly it's our last day here but I will definitely keep Tornagusto in my books and recommend this great place to any of my relatives that would come and visit Matera !
