Torii delivers fresh, flavorful food but has its inconsistencies, both in quality and overall experience. During this visit, we had two sushi rolls, a wok noodle bowl with steak, and two chicken buns. The sushi and noodles were well-prepared, with the wok being especially satisfying due to its generous portion size at 60-70₪. However, the chicken buns were a letdown—tiny and overpriced at 50₪, with an underwhelming sauce. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff enhancing the experience. That said, the ambiance and setup were problematic. The table for two was much too small to comfortably hold all the dishes, and the tightly packed seating made it hard to enjoy the meal without overhearing other diners’ conversations. Additionally, the dim lighting made it difficult for me to read the menu, especially with limited vision in one eye. On a previous visit, I tried their ramen. While it worked as a soup and had good flavors, it fell flat as a proper ramen dish. It lacked the authenticity and depth that define the real ramen experience. Price-wise, Torii is inconsistent. While some dishes, like the wok, offer good value, others, like the buns, feel overpriced. Spending 260₪ (tip included) felt on the higher side, especially considering the burger shop across the street offers double the food for half the price. In summary, Torii offers fresh and enjoyable food with great service, but the inconsistency in portions, pricing, and ambiance detracts from the overall experience. We ordered 6 special rolls and an egg roll. Large rollers, not fastened. Not tasty and really expensive. Sauces we ordered spicy mayonnaise which was thin and not tasty with an aftertaste. Instead of teriyaki we only got soy which we really didn't want so everything was very salty. Argoul arrived cold. In short, very expensive and really not tasty. 1 time we didn't finish an order and threw it away.
