This Spur was not on Par with the other Spurs we regularly visit. I won't visit here again easily when doing shopping here. We always visit Spur because they have child minders which gives us some freedom to eat and dine. Usually they tag and name tag the child. This did not happen here. They play with and care for our toddlers. This did not happen here. The food we got for the kids was cold, I don't mind this as the kids can eat it immediately. However our food was also on the cold side. The Spur wasn't packed/extremely busy during our last visit. Service generally was friendly, but a bit slow and we had to ask for menus. Do yourself a favour and visit Grove Mall Spur... Kid-friendliness: Not as great as other Spur branches Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: R 150–200 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Found my favourite Spur! Visited Thunder Valley two Friday's in a row, and on both occasions we enjoyed perfect service, perfect food, and perfect atmosphere! The vibe in this Spur is electric. The little ones playing and laughing in the "play area" is a clear sign of happiness. There's a buzz of happiness. It's unlike most Spur restaurants. On both occasions we sat there for at least 4 hours. We were relaxed, totally chilled, and enjoyed watching the world go by. This Spur is an extension of the amazing mall that they are a part of.
