This is the second time that I have ordered from sweet side and I’m disappointed again. Once 4 years ago and again this weekend. The first time, the cake was incredibly dry and didn’t taste like anything at all. The fondant was incredibly thick. The second time were cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday. I ordered the cookie dough cupcakes and the cupcakes didn’t come with the flavoured buttercream, the cookies, or the chocolate chips. The buttercream was just vanilla so they were rather flavourless which is very disappointing. The owner is very nice but I paid a lot of money for rather flavourless cupcakes.

I'm so sorry you weren't happy with the cupcakes-- when we swap out a standard icing for a coloured buttercream, it is always done with a vanilla buttercream and not a flavoured buttercream. In terms of the garnishes, we interpreted from your order that you didn't want those added because you wanted the look to be Minnie Mouse, and the cookie garnishes would have taken away from that look. It seems that we may not have had enough communication in the lead up to the order, and we apologize for that. Please feel free to contact me directly if you would like to discuss further.

I can not recommend this bakery enough! I had a late notice request following a family emergency with my prior arrangement - and she went above and beyond to ensure the best cake was ready on time, incredibly affordable - and delivered! My boy had the best time and absolutely LOVED his pokemon cake. I know who I will be ordering through for all future events

Thank you The sweet Side for the beautiful cake. I’m from the Philippines and was looking for a birthday cake for my brother when I found this wonderful store online. I give it a try and ordered one for my brother. That was smooth transaction. He received the cake in excellent condition. ????????
