I chose to celebrate my birthday with lunch at The Streetfood Club, a place where I have previously had good experiences on evening visits. The appearance and atmosphere in the evening were always pleasant and provided a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, my lunch didn't go as well this time, so I now look back on this place with mixed feelings. The food itself was fine, but the Philly Cheese Steak disappointed. The dish contained almost no meat, which is an essential part of a Philly Cheese Steak. Instead, it was mostly filled with vegetables and cheese, which didn't help the balance. What was especially disappointing was the service. The clerk who helped us the most was not rude, but there were many times when she and her colleagues placed our orders on the table in a hasty and less than polite manner. Sometimes it felt like the food was almost thrown down, after which they immediately left. This made us feel like our table was not important. In addition, we sometimes had to wait a long time for our food and drinks. I understand that this can happen when it's busy, but at some point it wasn't that busy anymore. That made the wait unnecessarily frustrating. At the end of our visit, I tried to share this experience with the employee who came to pay. Unfortunately, she looked at me strangely and immediately indicated that she had only just started her shift, so she would not be responsible for our service. She was not open to hearing my feedback, which came across as unprofessional and disappointing. It felt like complaints or problems are simply not important to the team. After my visit, I also shared my experience via email, but to date I have not received any response. This is not only sloppy, but also disappointing. The company where I bought my lunch vouchers helped me with a solution as best as possible, and I really appreciate that. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about The Streetfood Club itself, which has not made any noise at all. This, in combination with the fact that in addition to the vouchers I also spent a lot of money during my visit, gives me the feeling that customer friendliness and customer focus are not in the first place here. It seems like they don't care much as long as sales are being made. Although the location and appearance of The Streetfood Club are beautiful, the inner experience is disappointing. The beautiful exterior is in stark contrast to the sloppiness and lack of attention to guests. My thanks especially go to the place where I bought my vouchers for their good service. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend The Streetfood Club itself. Hopefully, in the future, more attention will be paid to providing a welcoming and customer-oriented experience, so that the place becomes as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside.
