Une restaurant délicieux. Nous y avons mangé un lunch et c'était vraiment très bon. Les spicy rolls sont fantastiques, le Ramen délicieux, les tempura parfaits. Des produits extrements frais cuisinés à la commande. Un régal!

My friend and I ordered some light food here, but we were completely blown away by the taste. I’m not exactly sure what the dish in the photo is called, but it was absolutely delicious. The meat patty in the middle was tender and juicy—possibly the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The server, who seemed to be a gentleman from Japan, was incredibly polite and even walked us to the door to open it for us when we left. I really liked him. I’ll definitely be coming back! This was the worst Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to in Toronto. I was really looking forward to trying Bar Shozan, but I was extremely disappointed with both the food and the service. The dishes were far from authentic Japanese cuisine. The sushi rice was overly soft, and the fish didn’t taste fresh at all. I also ordered a beef bowl, and it was awful—huge chunks of low-quality beef that were tough and nearly impossible to eat. When I asked for a knife or scissors to cut the pieces, an older Japanese woman working there made an inappropriate comment, saying that the beef bowl ‘is not Korean style,’ which felt rude and discriminatory. The entire experience was unpleasant, from the poorly prepared food to the offensive attitude of the staff. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone.
