Pizza was excellent! Surface is relatively quick good drinks great to see some fantastic restaurants at the Forks now. Would like to see more vegetarian options.

Had it at the U of M with my daughter. Great pizza for what it's come from - a truck. Quick and to order. Really nice homemade sodas.

Truly some of the best pizza I can ever remember putting in my face. I tried the Red Ember Pizzas for dinner, lunch, and breakfast so I feel comfortable yammering on the internet about my opinions on this one. Their food truck was set up in festival camping during the Winnipeg Folk Festival, and since the founder is from my friend's same small hometown (shoutout to Starbuck) we beelined there for one of our first meals onsite, and then kept coming back. First off, the technology at work here is cooooool. Some small town geniuses took an enormous truck, like a truck truck, like a heavy, semi trailer truck, and did their own machine work to instal a full flaming freaking pizza oven inside. It's like two stories. When you order you stand almost a full four feet below the crew who are hustling pizzas on long wooden paddles from a wood burning oven inside the fucking truck above you behind glass. The person taking your order knows it's badass ballet behind them, but simply smiles politely with a tiny hint of smug delight at your awe and talks to you about the pizza. The glorious glorious pizza. The crust is light and chewy and perfect in perfect proportion. The sauces and veggies and meats are all grown and cured from local farms near Starbuck. The flavour combinations are smart and delicate and lovely. Breakfast pizza made everything ok, and the ratatouille pizza is good at every single time of day. I wish I could eat this pizza everywhere I travel to, but I also kind of love the idea of having to come back to Winnipeg to earn the goodness again.
