I stumbled upon this amazing gem, by happy accident, one might say by pure serendipity. I was visiting Detroit on business and thought hey I've never been to Canada, I'm going to go. After walking around the river walk for a bit, I had developed a thirst, and decided I'd get a beer. I looked up what was close and this just seemed like the right place. The minute I walked in I knew I had chosen well. There was music playing at the perfect volume loud enough to be heard, but not so loud you had to talk over it, and couldn't here the truly joyous sound of human beings interacting. I sat at the bar and asked for a recommendation on a local beer. Lisa the bartender was wonderful and offered some great suggestions. After some great conversations with other sojourners at the pub, it was sadly time to leave. Next time I'm in Windsor I will definitely be coming back. If you happen to be lucky enough to be seated next to Tom and Sergio at the bar, you are in for an amazing evening. Thanks again Lisa at the Manchester. Your pub is absolutely brilliant. New staff is very rude. security is always drunk. every time I walk past the Manchester this African-American man that works there always makes fun of me have no idea why, and there’s a guy with a disability that works there(the Igor) is the rudest guy there sticks the finger up at guests for no reason he’s very rude when you talk to him . I used to like going to this bar but ever since those two guys started working there they made my experience miserable. They only seem to be nice when I bring a date there. If you bring a date they’re expect that African-American guy to go up to you a lot he may actually buy you guys a drink but will keep hitting on your date(still got to bring her home tho). I have no idea what I did to him but every time I walk past there he calls me out and thinks I don’t hear him making fun of me. Please hire mature staff. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Not worth your time. It really pains me to write a negative review of any Windsor restaurant but The Manchester has really gone downhill. I've been coming here since it opened and it used to be one of the best spots to grab a pint and some really authentic pub food, now it's hardly somewhere to go for a quick pint. The service the last few times we've gone has been terrible, just the staff being distracted or completely overwhelmed due to being understaffed. There's been completely different staff every visit and they all seemed checked out. Since the new owners took over this place has turned into a terrible spot to go. I haven't ordered off their new menu but from what I've seen coming out of the kitchen I don't think I'd ever order anything. The baskets look cheap and the food was taking a ridiculous amount of time to come out. The person next to us ordered a wrap and fries and it took close to 45 mins for it to come out. We watched multiple groups come in and leave because they weren't being served. On a Friday night. The mens bathroom is consistently disgusting and need to be cleaned. They need to revamp it because there is nothing left of the Manchester Pub from a few years ago, Its more like a dive these days, in the worst ways. It may have the same fate as The Dugout if they don't change things soon. There are far better places in this city to support. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
