Super expensive and mediocre un an plus tôt sur Restaurant Guru

I was looking for reviews, as I wanted to try High dough, and I have to be honest, it was very meh. 100 percent not worth the price being charged. My mind was made after I came here and saw people praising it. Even priced with high quality ingredients, this pizza is nowhere near worth its price. 48 bucks for a pizza and wings?(yes, prices are high, all around, but not that high, even compared to other pizza places) Ridiculous. Maybe if the pizza were large or had lots of toppings or something,
but for the size and quality, nah. Go to campio for a similar pizza(Detroit style) for a better price. Unless you're rich or something. One positive I will give is that it's not "Bad" pizza. It's just nowhere near worth the price they charge. This is not even considering it took about 3 and a half hour to get my pizza, which was cold by the time it reached me.

My mind was made after I came here and saw people praising it. But as someone who has worked as a chef for close to a decade(4 years with a pizzaiolo from Napoli at Parlor, across from grant mac) I will say, don't waste your money at this place. Even priced with the finest ingredients, this pizza is nowhere near worth its price. 48 bucks for a pizza and 8 wings? Ridiculous. Maybe if the pizza were large or had lots of toppings or something,
but for the size and quality, nah. Go to campio for a similar pizza(Detroit style) for a better price. Unless you're rich or something. One positive I will give is that it's not "Bad" pizza. It's just nowhere near worth the price they charge.

I don’t know where some of these reviewers have been eating, or maybe they just try one pizza and base the opinion on that. Speaking as one who has had every flavour they have to offer, High Dough is STELLAR!! Excellent Detroit style pizza. The dough is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Perfect sauce/toppings/crust ratio. They know what they are doing here. My go-to is “You Make Me Thick” and it never disappoints. Nearly every pizza has been amazing. Nobody is going to like every concoction by any means so, if you try something you’re not a fan of, try another one. Trust me. I’ve had them all.
