I was staying at a nearby hotel and discovered The Fresh completely by accident. It was a bit of a drive, but it was worth every minute. The food was excellent. The meat and vegetables all tasted incredibly fresh, and the variety of ingredients available to customize your order is superb. I had a bowl with chicken and rice, plus vegetables and excellent ponzu and sweet chilli sauces. We had chocolate and matcha mochi for dessert, both of which were very good. The service was very good. He was very friendly and made excellent recommendations. If I were ever in this area again, I would absolutely eat here. I'm not sure if it was because the food reminded me of the kind of food we have in California, but The Fresh stood out as one of the best restaurant discoveries of our trip to Italy (and there have been many).
