Leuke bar restaurant. We hebben wat gedronken en wat eten besteld. Het eten was prima we hadden calamaris en poutine . De bediening was attent en heel erg leuk. Blonde dame met tattoos . Ik ben alleen haar naam vergeten. We vroegen om wat fruitig bier en kregen meteen wat biertjes en een cider om te proeven. Zeker een aanrader deze kroeg.

The restaurant formerly known as Pipa retains much of the decor and menu options of the Portuguese-Brazilian eatery, while adding specialty meatballs and other comfort food with a variety of sauces. I recently organized a large event in their wonderful back atrium area, complete with its own bar and washrooms, plus a great dance floor. It was difficult to get things organized as the owner isn't able to respond to emails or messages right away. Several times I had to stop by in person to make sure things would be lined up for my group of 40 adults. On the big night things happened a bit slower than we would have liked, delaying the dancing, but everyone was happy with the food. Unfortunately not all my instructions were followed, leaving guests with french fries instead of the preferred fresh vegetables and salad I requested. I didn't get to taste my dessert, as staff took it away while I was away from my seat, so that was disappointing, but hard to discuss given the size of our group. The staff were overall very friendly and pleasant. I don't think I'll be back for some time, given my disappointment over the food based on my past experience, which had been quite good. A bonus with the change to The Brown Hound is a 10% discount for cash or *certified* cheque. There's no compromise on the certified part of that, so cash flow must be a problem, leaving me to wonder how much longer the restaurant will be around for.

We were the only people in the restaurant on a Monday night and the music was too loud to talk to each other. We asked the server if it could be turned down, but within 10 minutes it was back up blasting. Really took away from our experience.
