I understand this is a franchise location, but my recent visit was disappointing. The sauces were clearly pre-packaged, which isn’t necessarily an issue on its own, but the bigger concern was the cheddar broccoli soup. They had obviously run out of it, yet instead of letting me know, I was still charged and given a half-filled cup of extremely watered-down soup with virtually no flavor. It felt like an attempt to stretch the last of the product rather than simply informing customers it was unavailable. I would have completely understood if they had just said they were out. Charging for something that was clearly subpar was frustrating and left a poor impression. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. Today was my second visit to The Bro'Kin Yolk this week. On Monday, I went there for the Little Farmer breakfast that was good for me, because I am a little more mature and can't eat big meals like I used to. Today, I had the same breakfast with some different options. On both days the breakfast was top notch and so was the service. On Monday, I was served by Kayla and Kate, who did a great job of serving me a delicious meal, with lots of fun. Today, Vanessa, the Manager, Jenny, my Server, Nicole, the Hostess and Helpers, Ada and Sydney did the best job at serving me the best restaurant breakfast that I have had in quite awhile. The house cured bacon was scrumptious. I will definitely be back again when I am in the area. Note: Don't worry about the size of your appetite. They have a unique, diverse and interesting menu that can cater to anybody's appetite, large or small. They also work with Skip, Ubereats and Doordash, if you cannot make it in person. So, whatever the case, get yourself some Bro'Kin Yolks today. You'll be glad you did. Update: January 25, 2025 It's been 7 months since my last visit. I was back in the area today and dropped by for breakfast. Everything I said above is still true. Great food and great service. It's only 8:30 am and the place is hopping busy already. Our host, Carsten and our server, Kennedy, did a bang up job on getting, and keeping things moving along. I was told that on February 4th, there is a new menu coming, which will have some changes and additions that will tempt our palates even further. Can't wait for that. But why just read my review? Come on in and see, and taste, for yourself. Then you can do your own review and become famous on Google reviews, just like me. Well done Bro'kin Yolk. Keep it coming!
