We went to the Berry Barn for Thanksgiving 2024. I lost my mom in Oct 2023 and I wanted to go out for dinner for a traditional Thanksgiving, like my family did when our parents were alive. This was first Thanksgiving and my parent’s anniversary since mom passed. My dad passed in 2020. For me it was an emotional rollercoaster! We enjoyed it so much we booked for Christmas too. I would love to walk the grounds and hopefully will get to do that in the summer time. When I was younger I would take friends there to experience it. I have found the food is amazing, really great choices and you never leave hungry. The traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners were absolutely delicious I highly recommend if you have a walker or wheelchair you let them know ahead of time and it is a good idea to make reservations. In warmer weather the back lower terrace sunroom area is most enjoyable for the view but difficult for people with mobility restraints. If you want to shop they have a beautiful store where you can so many great items go 1 - 1 1/2 hours early to shop, you won’t feel like it after you eat!!! We are visiting from South-Africa. Today was our second visit to The Berry Barn. Previous visit was during summer when everything was floral, bright and colorful. Today, everything was covered in a blanket of snow and “Christmassie”. Both occasions were delightful. Thoroughly enjoyed the waffles with Saskatoon berries and cream from the toppings station we had today. Can highly recommend a visit. This will become a family outing every time we visit! The food is exceptional, the staff are extremely friendly and the menu has a great selection of delicious options for people who have dietary restrictions. The last visit to The Berry Barn was excellent. The Gluten Free Waffle is my favourite, it is dense but very delicious and filling.
