I had their oolong milk tea at other chain stores and it was amazing. But the one I got here today, tasted none of tea and it was a whole cup milk. Disappointed.

There was a 50% off drinks offer during 3-6pm when I went into the shop. I thought it was all drinks could be 50% off, but actually 2 drinks that be in the event. I selected the Black Gold Milky Beer. Guests ordered the drinks and went out to wait for them. And the cashier will bring it out once done. This was the first time that I tried The Alley. The price is a bit high if not having this 50% off event. But good to try and the taste was good. I felt the taste was a little different than the other bubble tea shop. Seems the sugar was kind of honey.

Of all the bbt places in the Markham area the alley is one of those places that never disappoints. Regardless of what you order you will be getting exactly what you ask for. I am a big fan of the royal #9 as the hint of blueberry in the milk tea always seems to amaze me. (I think it's blue berry but don't quote me) I have tried their other drinks such as the kiwi slush and garden milk tea but I always find my way back to the royal #9. The staff are always friendly in ALL locations and very knowledgeable of their products. If you want a sit down however, you will need to go to their Scarborough or main street unionville location as the one by hwy 7 is more of a takeout spot. 100% would recommend if you for some reason have never tried bbt in your life or if you have only tried more of the popular franchises such as cha time or coco.
