We have a policy of no dogs in our Café. There can be serious consequences for us breaking that policy. It is a question of hygiene and is normal here in Denmark, which is why there is sign clearly posted at the entrance. In 10 years we have never had an occasion where someone has requested to bring in a guide dog. That is why our employee asked you in what your opinion was an insensitive question. Also because the dog was not permitted then maybe they could better assist you if you still chose to enter our shop. Perhaps you could show a bit of the empathy and understanding you seem to be demanding from other people.
