A real Greek tavern with some restaurant character and a very cozy restaurant. Great welcome culture and patient, helpful staff; - so very good service. Eating on site as well as take-away of the same high quality. Prices are fair and reasonable for the dishes. Main menus between €15 and €25 with side dishes such as “chips” (gorgeous fried potatoes) and a small mixed salad with an extremely digestible vinaigrette-based dressing. Every order and takeaway is simply a pleasure for fans of Greek cuisine. Also recommended for spending an evening with friends in a cozy, Greek atmosphere. Suitable for groups and family friendly. Background music, like in a holiday atmosphere on the Greek islands or mainland. Local can also be booked for “closed parties”. No delivery service. Kid-friendliness: Child-friendly menus can be ordered. Wheelchair accessibility: Access is easy with a wheelchair, walker or forearm walking aid. I did not use the toilets or check them for accessibility. Very nice staff and the food is all recommended. Have been there several times and have never been disappointed. We will be back. Taverna Mythos has the best cuisine in all of Mönchengladbach. The innkeeper is the nicest and sweetest person I have met in my entire life. There is nothing bad to say, only good things.
