After a few years off, we decided to visit J&D as the food and service was definitely above average in the past, once upon a time. Unfortunately, "Jurgis ir Drakonas" today is far from comparable to many chain restaurants. When 8 people arrived, the staff offered to go find seats if the tables needed to be pushed together. No problem, we found it. 1. The dishes they used to have before are no longer made here - only pizza. When you start choosing pizzas, it turns out that you won't be able to make some of the pizzas because of the lack of ingredients. 2. The waiter informed us that when ordering one pizza, one of the ingredients will not be available - when we asked to add another, we received an explanation that we would have to pay extra. However, he did not offer to pay cheaper for an incomplete composition :) 3. When we started naming the drinks, we got the answer that we only have homemade lemonade - no cola, no pepsi, no giro, no beer, no non-alcohol beer - there is NOTHING. Kombucha had 1 bottle :) 4. When the pizzas are brought, I ask for olive oil, because I can already see that the edges of the pizzas are dried out and dry. And unfortunately, I didn't have to visit a pizzeria, where there would be problems here. The answer from the staff - unfortunately the oil has run out, we don't have any more (let me remind you - the Neapolitan pizzeria does not have olive oil...). 5. One pizza with a burnt bottom. Just black, the taste is too bitter. The waiter explained that it must be on fire, but then he admitted that maybe it was a little too much. If someone cared about the customer experience, they could run to the nearest Maxima and grab both oil and cola cans. But no one cared about that anymore. The only good decision - after serving the children, he brought a portion of ice cream for free by his own decision, because he understood the poor situation he was left to work in. In this case, even zero VAT will not save this place, when the attitude towards the customer and the food is at this level.
