Although googles says the restaurant opens at 11:30. we were told they don't open at 12. the host made 0 effort to provide sitting. we were told to wait outside in the winter. Very good quality Indian food, great for a date or dinner with a small group. I would recommend the samosas - delicious and large enough to share one between two people. We also ordered butter chicken (delicious), tandoori chicken (tender and juicy pieces), lamb korma (large, tender pieces in a rich and well-spiced sauce), chana masala, and plain naan (a nice, light complement to our meal). Unusually, you can choose the level of spice you’d like in each dish. This gives people the flexibility to order a dish they like but to tone down the heat if it is typically spicy. The service was smooth, attentive and competent. The atmosphere inside is nice but noisy as the music is quite loud and people speak to hear themselves above it. There is a heated patio that is normally quieter. Overall, a great place for Indian food in an upscale but unpretentious atmosphere.
