On vous recommande fortement de visiter The Cathedral Church of St. Paul et Taste Of Mayia. A chacune de vos visites, vous aurez droit à un service énorme. La plupart du temps, on trouve ici une atmosphère familiale.
When we got there the person had the audacity to refuse us when we asked for meat to say that “meat will be too expensive for you” Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Most probably the owner used to invite friends over and then someone came up with the idea of him opening his own place. Though it hardly ressembles to a tavern, you will be surprised how well you can eat. Limited space and menu. It is so familiar and casual, as if you really joining a private, old-fashioned BBQ dinner. Whatever is cooking is orally presented and the bill orally transmitted. Honestly, I enjoyed the succulent, grilled to perfection meat (porc souvlakia, seftalia and lamp chops), the generous salad and the hand-cut chips. Everything got fresher with some yogurt and more interesting with the harder and saltier version of grilled halloumi. The man of the house will serve you straight from the grill into your plate in a unbothered way. Do not be intimidated by his singing :-) This eating style that breaks away from the usual, together with the good service from the lady, are good enough reasons to visit. Better call for a weekend reservation as the clientele tends to be hard-core fans with dedicated tables. We paid €25 cash and the second beer was on the house. We will return again and again hoping that one day we’ll get our own little table! ;-)
