Visiter Sault Ste. Marie Museum demande du temps et des efforts. Si cela vous donne faim, venez dans ce restaurant pour un délicieux repas. Un restaurant qui vaut absolument le détour !Excellent souper du 14 septembre 2017. Une serveuse souriante et enjouée qui a fait son travail très correctement du nom de Gul. C'est écho à l'intérieur donc ce n'est pas relaxant si des clients sont agités. Le décor est simple et de bon goût. Nullement huppé et c'est ce que nous préférons. Mon épouse à commandé les crevettes karahi et moi, l'agneau vindaldo. Nous avions une énorme portion de riz cuit juste à point. Tout était fortement épicé comme nous l'avions demandé. Nos assiettes coûtaient $15.99 chacune et c’était excellent. Total de $36.14 avec taxes. Nous avons donné $5.42 de pourboire à Gul soit 15% du montant total. Le restaurant est situé dans le centre-ville et non sur une grosse avenue large et commerciale avec les décibels des véhicules, ce qui nous a plu. Il y a plusieurs choix au menu. What a wonderful find on our first night in "Steel Town" - Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. We did a little exploring of the town, watched the sun set on the bridge, and then drove downtown to see what food sounded best and was locally offered. We love Indian food and decided to try Tandoori Gardan. The restaurant is small and very casual, but it was clean and the staff seemed relaxed and friendly. The minute we stepped in the door, we could smell that this was going to be delicious! We all ordered mango lassies, that may have been the best we've ever had. It was a challenge not to gulp it down! We then had meat samosas that were absolutely perfect. There are three pieces to an order, so it was perfect for us. The wrapper was light and flakey - but it didn't fall apart, even with all the meat that was waiting inside. My husband ordered Lamb Biryani and it was as special as it should be. It was perfect! The lamb was tender and the rice was nicely seasoned. Our son had the Beef Mughlai that melted in your mouth, and I had my favorite, Butter Chicken. We couldn't decide what was best! And then we had a bite of the garlic naan. OMG! I've never had better naan! The entire meal was incredibly good. This is one of those special places where you have a difficult time stopping eating. We left incredibly full. The staff was lovely. Liz even took time to give us an insider's guide to two days in the Soo. There was plenty of room in the restaurant, as the locals streamed in steadily for take out. Another sign that the great food wasn't a fluke. Best way to start a visit to a new city! Thank you!
