Me and 2 friends went out for a dinner. - We ordered various main courses. All of them were dry and the taste rather dissapointing. Hard to believe they were cooked from fresh (meat/king prawns). Quite a portion was thus still left on our plate and the servant informed. We received no apologies, no discount, no offered alternatives or dessert as a compromise. Service pretty much absent although they had only one other table to serve. +I The garlic Naan was good as well as the vegetable usamosas we had for starter; sauses were quite fine. I am a big fan of Indian cooking, but this was sadly all in all disappointing.

A quiet spot in downtown Reykjavík, where you can find a verity of delicious and colourful indian dishes for affordable prices - relatively to the cost of food in other restaurants in the area.

I am a regular at Taj Mahal and I love it every time. They have a wide range of dishes on the menu and the courtesy in the service is a big plus. I totally recommend!
