The View is a beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect position for the village and ski lifts. However very sadly, our stay was overshadowed by one member of staff, whose attitude made us feel like we were a burden rather than a guest. It’s a great shame that poor customer service from a rude member of reception staff will undoubtedly prevent a stay in the future. I would caution others guests who might (rightly) assume that if the arrival brochure says the bar facilities are available all day, that that’s what you’d expect. When getting a glass of hot water for a cold remedy, or simply asking for a coffee when the bar facilities should be open, seems beyond the duties of a receptionist/management, you know the hotel has forgotten all about hospitality. The halfhearted apology we received when raising our concerns at check out was totally unsatisfactory. Our complaint was met with stony silence and then aggression from another member of reception/management team. We could have not been more disappointed and surprised. However, we would like to say thank you to the lovely barman, who came on duty at 3pm and the housekeeping staff. The reception/management team have a lot to learn from their staff! Service: 1

I was a guest with two friends the weekend before last. Unfortunately, this turned out to be unfortunate as both are extreme “snorers”. After not getting any sleep during the night, I went to reception the next morning to ask if there was still a single room available. I was provided a room for the second night at no extra charge. Simply sensational. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back!!!! Next time with an extra room Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen einwöchigen Aufenthalt im the VIEW Saalbach! Das Hotel ist modern und gemütlich zugleich. Die Lage ist top und der Service sowie das Essen sind sehr, sehr gut und von hoher Qualität. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und konnten wunderbar entspannen. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr hell und einladend mit 3 verschiedenen Saunen und einem tollen Blick über Saalbach. Abends lässt es sich super noch an der Bar ein paar Drinks genießen. Das Ambiente ist einfach schön im gesamten Hotel und man ist von dort aus schnell auf tollen Wander- und Mountainbike-Strecken. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
