I am a regular customer of TGI Friday, ordeing online and visiting the one located in Nicosia Mall. But today i decided to order from an app to pickup myself from the Mall of Cyprus. When i arrived and asked the host where to pickup the meal that i ordered online, he told me to wait outside and they will bring it (i know from other TGI Fridays when you do takeaway, the package is waiting for you at the bar section). I spent 40 minutes waiting, well other delivery men were picking up meals outside. Eventually, i heard a person say they came to pickup a meal for takeaway that he ordered, and the host said come inside towards the bar. I confronted him and explained again that i came for takeaway/pickup and have been waiting 40 minutes ignoring me. He responded with "i thought you was a delivery person, you can go inside". Not only did he discriminated me, but the food was cold until i got home. I do not recommend Tgi Friday Mall of Cyprus, until they sort out thier staff and put a responsible person to greet thier customers! I've been going to Fridays regularly since they opened. The quality of the food has plummeted in recent times. But what is unacceptable (and I imagine also illegal) is that there is no Greek-speaking staff. It is unthinkable in Cyprus today that you have to speak English to order. And even more so when you want to explain that you don't want an ingredient from the food. I went to Fridays in Larnaca and noticed exactly the same situation. When I asked someone who spoke Greek to order, a girl who was at the entrance and was in charge of reservations came over and said she would send someone else to take the order. And of course someone came who didn't speak Greek. Overall, due to the quality of the food now being fast food and the poor service, I will think twice before deciding to go to Fridays in the future. As regulars at TGI Fridays, Mall of Cyprus, we always order the buffalo wings, but our recent visit was disappointing. The wings tasted off, and when we asked the manager, we were told they had run out of buffalo sauce and substituted it with teriyaki sauce—without informing us. We were still charged the full price, even though we couldn’t eat the dish. This lack of communication and the poor experience really let us down.
