We went for a brunch at the California Bakery near viale Piave. At first I asked is the pancakes with eggs and bacon could be served with benedict eggs, and the waitress told us they would be priced differently, so we went for the avocado toasts with eggs benedict. What we received was a toast with avocado and hard-boiled eggs, without even the hollandaise sauce which we assumed was part of the Benedict. But aside from that what we discovered was that they had a discount on other menus, therefore a menu with a pancake and benedict eggs would’ve cost just the same, and they didn’t mention or write it on the menu. They were also quite strict with the beverages, we wanted to have a cappuccino instead of an american coffee but it was not possible in the menu, not even with a smaller fee, but we had to take it separately. It was a disappointment. Price per person: €20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
