While on a trip to Niagara Falls we were looking for a place to grab some lunch and stumbled across the Stirling Pub. We had a wonderful meal - really good food! The place looked great and the service provided by Sheri was excellent! She's a terrific waitress as well as friendly and fun! I highly recommend this place!

**Eat at the Stirling Niagara Pub if you're willing to risk being towed** 10 of us coworkers have been ordering lunch at the Stirling on alternating days for the past 2 months. Pete (who was great) let us park here for a couple hours on the days we bought lunch there since we had business in the area. The food wasn't too bad and it was a good deal for all of us. Everything was going well these 2 months, until last week when Pete quit the Sterling. Just days later, one of my coworkers had his car towed from the Stirling parking lot on a day we have regularly been ordering lunch there. He went to Steve (the owner) to see if he can explain to the landlord that we are paying customers and to not tow our cars on the days we buy our lunch there. Steve's reply was "I can't tell them who not to tow". We find it hard to believe that a business tenant can't tell a landlord to not tow their customers. In any case, his answer was that he will not do anything about it. None of us are going to risk a $150 towing fee just to eat at the Stirling Niagara. The fact that the pub owner doesn't care that you, as a paying customer gets towed, and won't even make a single phone call to fix the problem says it all. And just like that, he lost 10 loyal regulars. Don't worry Steve, we won't bother you as we found another place that wanted our business. Bottom line: When you eat at the Stirling Niagara Pub & Eatery, get a window seat so you can see when your car is getting towed. Know that you park at your own risk, because Steve the owner will NOT help you when the overzealous landlord decides to tow your car for literally any (or no) reason. If you really want to eat here, take an Uber.

Thank you for pointing out that our food and service is great! Pretty much all that matters to most. …Thank you for pointing out that our food and service is great! Pretty much all that matters to most. Let's move onto the rest. There is only one of you. It was 'your' car that was towed. We confirmed that you work across the street and were trying to avoid your parking fees. Learn to pay your bills. There was 'literally' ample reasons to tow your car. 1. You were told that you cannot park there all day everyday to avoid the parking fees at your place of employment. 2. It is not your property and you simply cannot do what you please. 3. There are ample signs stating that you cannot park there or you will be towed. 4. Pete did not let you park there, you simply cannot get permission to park for hours and days on end from a bartender that doesn't own the restaurant, in a location where the restaurant doesn't own the parking lot. We have been here for 3 years and have not had one single , mechanically operative car, towed from this lot. Considering that equates to thousands of cars and thousands of customers, who had no issues, we are going to go out on a limb here and suggest that maybe the problem here is, YOU! If you are ever in Washington DC feel free to stroll into The White House and kick your feet up in the oval office, tell them Pete said it was ok! In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. They risk very little yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to your judgement. You thrive on negative criticism, which you seem to think is fun to write. But the bitter truth, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average peice of junk is probably more meaningful than your criticism designating it so! AE Now Scram! More
