Five friends and I went to dine at this restaurant this evening. At the end of the dinner a young female server came to pick up the dishes. I was in the middle of a conversation and she had the nerve to cut me off and asked me to pass her dirty dishes. It was a round table I don’t understand why she couldn’t come over to to pick them up. I was like I don’t work here. I’m a customer and I pay to enjoy my dinner. I don’t know what kind of training she gets from the management. I think she is just plain rude and unprofessional.

Starchiva cuisine is a brand new fine dining cuisine located at Richmond Hill. It took over Dragon Boat and opened around 2 months ago during this Covid19 tough situation. I actually surprised it is almost full house in a weekday. The tables are spread out more than 2m with the plastic board between tables. We were seated immediately, and the manager helped all of us clean the cups, bowls and chopsticks with hot water. A+ service. We ordered a 3lbs lobster combo ($128). The lobster is fresh and with the maggi sauce and little fry fish on top of the lobster. There are half chicken, stir fry jumbo scallop with XO sauce, snow pea leaves with fish broth. The combo also include crab meat fish maw soup. We ordered additional fried rice and jumbo clams in broth on top of the combo. Everything is delicious, only the crab meat fish maw soup lacks a bit flavor. The lobster and jumbo scallop are amazing and outstanding, highly recommended. Included in the combo is the slice of cake dessert per person instead of some traditional Chinese sweet soup dessert. The waitress told us the cake is made in house as they also own the cake production factory. We agree that we will be return to Starchiva for another time
