service was terrible waited around to have service while waiters talked with customers , had hair in my food and was not given cutlery or napkins and when brought them was only brought for one person ,so got up and asked for the cutlery for the other person also waitress was swearing soon as walked in felt uncomfortable. also waited over a hour for food . asked for no tomatoes on food for a child and child had to pick them out because they had them in the food anyway , womens washroom is right next to the kitchen no distance in between

I've never been to the Sportsman Motel until yesterday. And I must say, "I was impressed" for a small town motel. The rooms were clean and have been renovated in the last few years. I most appreciated the tall shower head. I am 6 feet tall and didn't have to duck to use the shower. We met the owner who was more than helpful even though we checked in after business hours. The food in the restaurant was great. The portions were good and the coffee kept coming. I will be back here to say next time I'm overnighting in Kelvington.
