Very authentic little shop. Be sure to reserve in advance via the homepage. The residence time is then an hour, but that's enough. Food tastes TOP! Ambience too, exactly like in Japan, you completely forget that you are in Germany. We decided to visit Sorihashiya in Frankfurt because we saw its advertisement and really craved some ramen. The restaurant turned out to be typically European — very small and cramped. All the seats were taken, but fortunately, we had reserved a table in advance and managed to get in. At first glance, everything seemed fine, but the disappointment started when we were served the ramen. The menu had only five options, and one of them was super spicy, so we were left with just four choices. Two of them were based on fish broth, which was so unpleasant in taste that it was inedible. Our ramen had a thick broth, noodles, and just a few thin slices of meat. There were very few vegetables and interesting toppings, which was very disappointing. My ramen was on a nut-based broth, which in consistency was more like a sauce — very thick and not at all appetizing. The soup itself had a strong fishy taste, and I even had a stomachache afterwards. We were extremely disappointed with this visit. None of us finished our ramen, and we left feeling unsatisfied. Previously, we had eaten ramen in other places, and it was always delicious, hearty, and full of vegetables and greens. Unfortunately, Sorihashiya did not meet our expectations.
