Soca Palace is fairly new to the neighbourhood. It's roughly two blocks from where I live. I pass by often and decided to pay a visit today. I had difficulty deciding what to get. The helpful woman suggested getting the fried rice, chow mein, and chicken wing combo. Perfect! She was friendly and we talked a lot. She had been in business for 16 years! I learned that her restaurant was next to my doctor's office. She recently moved into my 'hood. I remember it always doing well, as there were always customers. The menu had lots of variety. You can also get roti and pizza. Service was fast! I went home and had a late lunch at 3 pm. The noodles have a spicy kick to them, which was a pleasant surprise. You get a lot of food! The fried rice was perfect. The veggies were crispy and fresh. And the wings? I love them! I'd go back there for the wings alone. I'm just sorry that it took this long for me to stop by. I'm glad that I did. It won't be my last visit.
