What happened to this formerly great place? An all round disappointing experience - shabby surroundings, cleaning rag and fluid on the table, female server pretty disinterested. And then... Today I had THE WORST concept of a hot turkey sandwich. 1) A sandwich with stuffing served on a huge bun - yuck. 2) The prefab turkey was lukewarm and the slice of dressing was cool to the touch. 3) This mountain of gravy yuck literally did not fit on the tiny plate it was served on. I could go on. But I won't - I'm still traumatized by the offering. George's was one of my favourite stops in Nanaimo. Has it changed hands?
