Everything was fine. The food was extraordinary, the service was great, and it's just a small place in the middle of the old town. The only reason Škabelin does not yet have a Michelin Star is because the Michelin Guide has not yet visited this restaurant. The food, techniques, and service are all phenomenal and rival those of the world’s finest restaurants. Tucked away in a more peaceful part of town Škabelin offers amazing food and the friendliest service. Every item presented to diners speaks of freshness and artisanal craftsmanship, showcasing a menu that is thoughtfully curated and hand-selected. This new restaurant will undoubtably eventually become so popular that it will become difficult to get a table --- nowhere is Rovinj can you find a better restaurant. The food and service we had at Škabelin was likely the best we have ever had, and we can unequivocally say that Škabelin is a must try while in Rovinj.
