Whilst Simply Asia offers several Vegan options, it is disappointing that their chefs really don't know how to prepare and cook good Vegan food. Restaurant owners need to make more of an effort to educate their staff over Veganism (To prepare food respectfully and completely separate), and how to cook even just the basics of a simple stir fry (Veggies were raw with not a single taste sensation that one would expect of Thai food, and tofu was undercooked with no flavour whatsoever). Underwhelmed and disheartened in yet another restaurant in Johannesburg. This Vegan will not be supporting Simply Asia again. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

We have frequently in the past attended and enjoyed our experience at Simply Asia Boskruin. The experience today was far below of a restaurant that should operate in a competitive industry. We will not be returning. We waited for more than 10 minutes before our drinks order arrived. This after we struggled to get the attention of a waiter. The waitress was not attentive at all and our order was not complete. The tuna sashimi that arrived was sub par, frozen, did not all looked like tuna and was a small portion. When pointed out to the manager he took 10 minutes to resolve it and indicated that I will be charged half of the price. When the bill arrived the discount was not factored in. The restaurant ran a half price sushi special but only 2 tables were filled. I felt compel to indicate to the manager that the service was far below standard and that I do not feel that a tip was justified. He indicated that they were busy training staff. I believe that they are focussing on their delivery service and fail to look after the patrons attending the restaurant. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
