This used to be my favourite restaurant, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I ordered two of the same items, and each item normally comes with its own salad. Both meals were packed into one single box, with the salads literally thrown on top of the food. Combining them into one container might have been acceptable if done thoughtfully or the container was big enough to fit both meals, but the way it was handled felt careless and cheap. I understand that this was a takeout order and not an in-person dining experience, but even with takeout, you still expect basic care and reasonable treatment. This honestly felt like a cost-cutting move. Is inflation really that bad? Imagine ordering two pizzas and receiving them stacked on top of each other in the same box. Also, what if the second item was meant to be a separate meal for another person? There was no consideration for presentation, portion separation, or the overall customer experience. Lovely place Simit & Chai. Loved the decor and the environment. I'm a big fan of the industrial look. Food was good. I had the tuna on a bagel ..a little to much lettuce but honestly it was very tasty! Recommend Yulia was very nice.. the person who took care of us!
